Book review Forrest Gump

The book i have read is Forrest Gump. The book is about Forrest's life and it starts when he is High School and starts with Football. He's good at playing football but his grades are not good enough to be able to stay at the school so he have to leave it. He then joins the army and he gets trained to join the vietnam war. In the war his friend dies and Forrest gets shot in the leg. After the war Forrest gets an medal from the president for his bravery in battle. Another thing that happens after the war is that he meets his old friend Jenny and started an relationship with her. Forrest and Jenny broke up and after that Forrest was recruited by NASA to become a Astronaut and he went up in space with an ape.
